Book a Session with a Practicum Student or Intern Counsellor

The Practicum Program is run by our Clinical Director, Tara Munro. Students accepted to the program have relevant experience, focus, are in good academic standing and are supervised by Clinical Supervisors with decades of experience and a diverse knowledge base. Clinical Supervisors work closely with students by providing one-on-one supervision, shadowing opportunities, and a team approach.

Students receive one hour of supervision for every five client hours. This allows students to receive immediate feedback and training to promote positive outcomes for clients and nurture professional development. Once the student has completed their practicum requirements, they then become Intern Counsellors while awaiting their certification.

Please hang in there - our students and interns are on their way.

We are in the process of bringing them on board - please check back in a few days.

We are currently open for in-person services.

At Sea to Tree Health & Wellness, the health of our clients and ourselves are our first priority. We are SO grateful to be able to welcome clients back, but that isn’t without some new policies and procedures to ensure we can continue to provide the same amazing level of care you’ve grown to expect from us, while respecting the provincial health authority on infection control and physical distancing.
