Counselling with Michelle
I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor and a registered professional art therapist. I work primarily with children, adolescents, and young adults. I believe in working from a client centered attachment based, approach and work to help a full range of challenges such as anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, behaviour difficulties and complex trauma. I feel that everyone, including children, can build on the skills they already have in a calm, supportive environment. Honesty, integrity and the therapeutic relationship are important parts of my practice.
I draw upon a wide range of approaches, that can be changed to what an individual’s needs at that particular moment in time. I work from a trauma informed lens and I do not believe in a one size fits all type of therapy. I know that “talk therapy” does not work for everyone and this is why I have a degree in Art Therapy. I am proud to offer this form of therapy to all ages, children to adults. I have trained and continue to educate myself in different forms of therapy to best meet my clients needs.
I welcome you to contact me, so we can discuss your goals for counselling and we can determine if I would be a good fit for you.

We Are Here
Sea to Tree Health & Wellness (originally called Sitka Wellness) was founded in 2019. It was born from the desire to create more opportunities for people to access local wellness services. We have a small team of practitioners committed to supporting you in person and behind the scenes to make this possible.
We respectfully acknowledge that we live and work on the unceded traditional territory of the T’Sou-ke First Nation. Born and raised on Coast Salish territories (West Coast of BC), it is a privilege to live and work on this land.
