What are your name, pronouns, your role at Sea to Tree? And when did you join?
I’m Michael (he/him), Registered Clinical Counsellor, and I was part of the first group of counsellors at Sea to tree in 2021.
What are your area(s) of expertise?
Death and dying, addictions, men in the trades, anxiety and depression, PTSD, communication skills and conflict management, couples counselling, and productivity/motivation.
What is the best thing about working with people?
Helping people with finding meaning, making wise decisions, and living in a way that they can be proud of.
And your favorite thing to do when you are not at work?
I enjoy hunting, powerlifting, Brazilian jiujitsu, carpentry, running, and board games!
If you weren’t a clinical counsellor, what would you be doing?
I would be an electrician.

Sea to Tree Health & Wellness Ltd. (originally called Sitka Wellness) was founded in 2019. It was born from the desire to create more opportunities for people to access local wellness services.
