Counselling with Sally-Anne
I work with a wide range of clients — children, adolescents, adults and retirees — addressing a full range of challenges such as anxiety, depression, low self-worth, trauma, substance use, anger, communication and life transitions. I have particular interest in working with individuals in order to improve their self-worth and strengthen their interpersonal skills as they learn to establish and maintain healthy relationships. I also offer professional experience to help parents become more effective and confident with their children and find joy in parenting again.
I draw upon a range of evidence based approaches and interventions which are tailored to fit your individual needs, wants, and goals. My trauma informed practice is facilitated with advanced trainings in a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Co-Occurring Disorders Treatment, Narrative Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Motivational Interviewing.
I welcome you to contact me so you can assess whether or not I am a good fit for your needs.
