Sea to Tree Health & Wellness

Tanis (she/her) is in the final stages of her counselling psychology education and certification process. As an Intern at Sea to Tree Health and Wellness, Tanis brings with her a background in youth and family support, nutritional consulting, holistic wellness, and a career in human resources. Tanis has a special interest in working with clients navigating major life transitions such as divorce, grief, and career changes.

Navigating life, with all its twists and turns, can be a daunting task. Tanis believes that each of us has a personal narrative that only we are the expert in. With that, she provides a caring respect-focused therapeutic approach. Building on a foundation of trust, open communication, honesty, and positive regard, a supportive and safe environment is the goal. With this foundation in place, clients take the lead through the collaborative process. Tanis supports clients of all ages on their unique journey from a place of empathy and compassion.

Outside counselling, Tanis can be found spending time enjoying all BC offers with her big blended family and two very spoiled cats.
